Hospice of the Comforter is the only non-profit, community-based hospice serving incurably ill patients in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties since 1990.

Hospice of the Comforter provides a special kind of care that supports people with an incurable illness and their families. Hospice care enables patients to carry on alert, pain-free lives and to manage other symptoms so that their days may be spent with dignity and quality, at home or in a home-like setting. Hospice of the Comforter's philosophy emphasizes the importance of the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of life's last journey. Care team members believe that they are guests on this intimate journey. They attempt to meet patients and their families where they are spiritually and do not impose their own belief systems on them.
