Bill Avery is a media veteran with a 35-year career as a television news and program executive.  He launched the Fox News operation in Orlando in March of 1998.

Bill is a former television news anchor and reporter and received both national and international awards for his work.  Articles Bill has written have appeared in national media magazines.

After retiring from television, Bill became a patient care volunteer for Hospice of the Comforter.  He was appointed Director of Development at Hospice of the Comforter in July of 2002.  In 2005, Bill was promoted to Vice President of Development and Communication. He now oversees development, communication and marketing.
