The annual Bohemian Ball benefiting Hospice of the Comforter is held every August. The event is hosted by the Law Offices of Jill S. Schwartz & Associates, P.A., chaired by Jill S. Schwartz, and co-chaired by Susan Pelteson, Owner/President of All About Events, Inc. and Distinctive Weddings.
Proceeds from the Bohemian Ball are used to fund the building of our Hospice House, a 16-bed facility for patients who have no one to care for them or whose illness is too advanced to remain in their home. This will be the only Hospice House serving Orange, Seminole and Osceola Counties. Hospice of the Comforter currently cares for more than 500 patients daily in these three counties.
The Bohemian Ball features a cocktail reception, live and silent auctions, gourmet dinner and spectacular entertainment. Previous entertainment acts included a cirque troupe, Motown legend The Spinners and Three Dog Night.
