Harvesting the Wisdom of Your Life: Creating an Ethical Will Your Last Will & Testament or Living Trust can make sure that your property is distributed according to your wishes, but your legacy involves much more than your material assets. An Ethical Will conveys the values you lived by through the stories of your life. By reconnecting with the past, seeing the best of successes and failures, recording achievements, dreams, goals and wishes, you can gain great insight and a sense of pride and strength. In this workshop, we will experiment with several ways of recalling the past and telling our stories. This process is a precious gift for the younger generations of our families and an empowering journey for each of us. Presenters: Alison C. Issen, RN, LMHC & Steve Cecchetti, CDP
Quality of Life Program Opportunities Graceful Passages: Coming to Terms with Our Mortality The wisdom of the ages encourages us to be intentional and present to all of life’s experiences. By coming to terms with our own mortality, we will move into the future with less fear and awaken to the joy that is available in the present moment. In this 4-session workshop, we will explore aspects of facing our mortality through dialogue, journal writing and imaginal exercises. By openly examining death, grief and loss, we can convert the energy involved in denying death into greater awareness and vitality for living.
