Leaving a Legacy of Compassionate Care

Legacy giving, or planned giving as it is more commonly called, is a way you can Hospice of the Comforter’s long-term sustainability. This support comes in the form of gifts that require thought and planning.

What does Hospice of the Comforter need to do to continue to meet the needs of the community? What are the needs that are not being met today, but, with the necessary resources, could be met tomorrow? Planned gifts are a big part of the answers to these strategic questions.

The most common and simple type of planned gift is a bequest to Hospice of the Comforter. Bequests can be accomplished by a simple clause in your Will or living trust. Other types of planned gifts include charitable remainder trusts, charitable gift annuities and beneficiary designations on life insurance and other contracts.
