Take Action Now to Stop Hospice Rate Cuts!

Now is the time to send the Senate a message..."Two Cuts are Too Much for Hospice!"
Several weeks ago, Senator Ron Wyden (D-OR) laid the groundwork to provide relief to hospice from the devastating rate cuts associated with health care reform.
Although Senator Wyden's an important first step, the hospice productivity cuts - a slashing of more than 11% over the next decade -are still included in the various health care reform proposals.
When the full Senate begins debate on the reform proposal in the coming weeks, Senator Wyden intends to offer an amendment to stop the hospice productivity cuts. The Wyden amendment recognizes that hospice is already facing a regulatory rate cut and that two cuts are simply too much for hospice.
Please spend a few moments now to send a message to your Senators and ask for their support on the Wyden hospice letter.
