Congratulations to Gail Malkenson, Educational Coordinator, for winning the Barbara Janosko Excellence In Leadership Award at the Florida Hospices and Palliative Care Forum in May!
This award was presented for the first time and recognizes an individual in a midlevel management position who demonstrates exceptional service, creativity and leadership and whose work has promoted the advancement of excellence in hospice and palliative care. The selection committee was particularly seeking demonstration of leadership, not only within the nominee’s hospice program, but also through inter-organizational relationships.
