February 2008
We have recieved our Certificate of Occupancy and AHCA approval!

December 2007
The columns in the front of the building have been installed. In December, the patient rooms are having the built-in furniture added. The cabinets have been installed in the café, the tile under the counters is up and wall murals are being painted. The chapel ceiling is going in, and the parking area will be painted soon. Three of the outside water features are completed as well.


November 2007

This month, ceiling tiles are being installed and light fixtures will be hung. The gazebo has arrived
and its pad will be poured mid-month. The transformer was put in at the end of October.
Doors are being hung and the painting of the walls is going full time. Almost all of the
shutters are up and the irrigation system is now being put in.

Hospice House November 07

October 2007

The Hospice House is nearing completion! The wall board is almost all done and each bathroom has had the tile on the walls and floor finished. The walk-in freezer has been installed in the kitchen. Doors throughout the building are being installed and the concrete pads for the gazebo and generator will be poured soon.

September 2007

The drywall is now being finished on the first floor and going up on the second floor.
The front entrance is moving right along as the bases for the columns were pored in late August. The large oak trees that are next to the parking areas have had walls poured to support them.
A block wall between the Center for Community Care and the Hospice House’s parking
areas has been put in and more blocks will be put in where the gazebo will be going.
The irrigation pipes have been laid and the roof is being finished as well.

The outside of the Hospice House is now painted and a parking lot has been paved.
The views below are of the back entrance, which faces the Center for Community Care.

The building will soon be closed in as windows are being installed.

The walls of Central Florida's only Hospice House are rising!

The tilt-up walls are being poured horizontally on the ground next to the foundation.

January 2007
The foundation has been poured!

December 2006
The ground is being leveled in preparation for the foundation to be poured.

October 2006
A trench has been dug to hold all of the underground piping and wiring,
and the land has been staked out.

August 2006
Ground has been broken!

July 2006
We are awaiting final permits. The building to the left is our Horizons Bereavement Center and Medical Equipment department. Montgomery Road is through the trees.

December 2005
Our land is cleared of the building that was formerly on the property.
