As Director of Education, Linda Freda oversees an educational staff of four responsible for developing and implementing more than 20 community outreach offerings and 10 staff education offerings each month. 

She has been with Hospice of the Comforter since 2003 and has more than 12 years of hospice experience. She currently serves as the president of the Central Florida Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association.  Linda previously worked as a staff nurse at two hospitals as well as an elementary educator for 11 years.

Linda graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's degree in education and later earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in nursing there as well.  She is a certified End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium trainer, a certified hospice and palliative nurse and a member of Sigma Theta Tau nursing honor society.
