Marie Houck joined Hospice of the Comforter in 2006 as our Director of Volunteer Services. She previously served as Volunteer Development Manager at the Orlando Science Center after moving to Orlando from Miami over a year ago.  She has had an extensive career in the non-profit sector. She served as Customer Relations Coordinator at Jackson South Community Hospital in Miami where she was responsible for Volunteer Services, Patient Relations, Hospitality Services and Pastoral Care.  Marie also served as Ombudsman for the Early Intervention Program for Miami Dade County for three years.
