The Planned Giving Advisory Board (PGAB) is attached to and in support of the Planned Giving Department. The PGAB provides many opportunities and benefts to Hospice of the Comforter, including:

Community and professional advisor education

Facilitation of networking and interaction of the Planned Giving Counselor with professional financial advisors

Guidance and support to the Planned Giving Counselor

Increased credibility of HOTC's planned giving program

Assistance in the creation of the estate planning component as a service to patients and families

Interaction with HOTC's donors and potential donors

Advocacy of charitable estate planning that assists HOTC and other nonprofit organizations
