Volunteer Advisory Board (VAB): Volunteers make up the VAB and meet monthly to share ideas of how to enhance and enable more growth in the volunteer program.
Community Action Board : The Community Action Board (CAB) is fundraises for HOTC's Development Department.
The CAB focuses on donor relations and major gifts.
Speakers Bureau: Volunteers who belong to the Speakers Bureau present to local civic groups, churches and organizations to inform and educate about hospice services.
Bilingual Opportunities: As our Central Florida community grows, we continue to care for more patients and families unable to communicate in English. Volunteers who speak another language such as Spanish or sign language facilitate communication between patients and care team members.
